Yesterday I had the great privilege to be invited to a gathering of the FICCI Ladies’ Organization chapter in Jaipur. It was the second time I had gone; the first was last year, when they had donated a number of computers to an NGO called Taabar which helps orphaned children from the railways.
A number of the members are involved with their own NGOs and businesses, and it was quite inspiring to meet them. They are so active and committed that it is easy to envision Rajasthan becoming a dynamic and progressive state through their efforts.
