The United Women Front (UWF), India’s first national political party formed by women, was launched yesterday to provide women a forum in Indian politics.  No stranger to the game, the party president is Suman Krishan Kant, wife of the former Vice-President, Krishan Kant: “We are tired of waiting for the Women’s Reservation Bill.”

I am eager to see the reaction in the political sphere, and from voters for that matter.
